Might as well just say that I check every day. Update as often as I can. In case you look at the rankings and think "WTF?", I'm judging the attacks based on what would happen, not what should. Most of these are done by minors, so the punishment would be damn near cut in half.

Misdemeanor is a lesser crime (usually the punishment is a fine) and a Felony is a greater crime (usually always with a minimal sentence).
American law is interesting. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assault#American_jurisprudence
Unfortunately, a lot of sentences are lowered in cases like this because the perpetrators are fucking minors.
